Hi,
In Word (97 or 2000) how do I either Un-format hyperlinks, or--a better solution--how do I tell Word what is and what is NOT a hyperlink?
For example, I wanted to change a misspelling in a network path I had typed in a doc, and it would *not* let me put the cursor in the middle--it always wanted to select all of the hyperlink as a single entity. So I went to the menu Format|Style, and changed the hyperlink to not underlined and black text. However, I really want the hyperlinks in the finished doc, so after I was done, I reset the style, and then Word would take *entire paragraphs* and highlight them as hyperlinks! I tried to put spaces and returns after the end of the 'real' hyperlink, but the follwing text remained highlighted.
What is the trick here? Thanks,
