Word 97 / Win98 - Document Coding bjbjt+t+

I've seen info on this, in this group before but am unable to locate it.

Word Documents, after being saved and reopened show the coding in the document.

bjbjt+t+

Then the text that was typed

then coding about the document


Tools > Options > Include Document Properties is not checked and it is not set to show field codes.

I've seen the fix here before, please someone help or lead me to the proper thread.

OOPS.. found it...

Problem resolved:

Open Word.
Hit File-Open.
Change the files of type to Word Documents instead of "recover text..."
Open any document.
Close the document.
Close Word.
