Hi everyone!

Does anyone know of a way to permently delete or get rid of track changes?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Either accept them, or reject them. Then turn off Track Changes. Once Track Changes is ON, then...changes are tracked.

Gerry

As Gerry says, the secret is you must ACCEPT all changes before turning off Track Changes.

But if you are talking about removing all the metadata traces of track changes, then you will find a metadata removal tool in the Office section at Microsoft.com.

This will be a standard feature in Office 2007.

I am actually looking to remove track changes form office.

Huh? What do you mean remove track changes from Office?

Gerry

We what to get rid of Track changes from Office.

It's an integral part of Office and cannot be removed as a separate item.

that's what I thought but my CEO asked for it's removal.

Is there anyway of disabling it?
