Hello, thanks to anyone who can help.

I leave my system on most of the time and I came home from work to find my system off. The front power button has a little LED in it and it was blinking on and off, with the light staying on for approx 3 seconds and off around the same amount of time. I took the system out and inspected it and didnt find anything wrong. I took out the battery and reset the CMOS to no avail.

System info:
MSI K8N Neo board
AMD 2800+
2gb DDR400 RAM
2 WD 250gb HD
USB port board in back
256mb AGP video card
soundblaster card
generic 400W power supply

This also has the D-bracket in back which is not lighting up during the attempt to power process. I am not getting any fans spinning, hard drives or cd drives moving, or the CPU fan moving. No beeps either.

Thanks and let me know if you need any more specifics.

First stop is check the power supply by substitution. Sounds like one of the dc voltage rails is down or out completely.

word up - it was the power supply. bought a 600W one (on sale) and it works like a charm!
