I have a computer that I want to do a "clean install" of XP on but I can’t get it to boot from a cd ? I have:
1. tried several cd’s (XP,Win98 etc.)
2. checked the BIOS setting (CDROM, A:,C
3. tried another cdrom Drive
4. updated the BIOS software
The computer works fine but still will not let me boot from a cd !
Once the computer is booted up into Win'98 normally,I can put the XP or Windows ‘98 cd in and it will start the install process like normal. Is there any setting that I may have missed which could cause this problem ???
Thanks-
