Do an IP config at the command prompt and see the following information.

Make sure you have a setting for everything as above (not the same number, but a valid entry). IP address should NOT be 169.xxx. Try to ping what is listed as the default gateway. If that works, try to ping one of the DNS servers. If that works, try to ping

If that works, it may be a browser problem or spyware problem. Check Internet Explorer settings in the CONNECTION tab. Try loading Firefox.
