I need to know what advantages comes with wire fixed telephony , I mean, Wich data services can be supported by wire fixed telephony and can´t be supported by wireless fixed telephony.

In quality of service, Wich of those is better and why?

In Costs, wich is better and why?

In my opinion they both have different benefits.

It's a bit like carrying water from point A to point B.

A wired network is like laying a hosepipe. You need to make sure that the pipes are all connected in order for the water to reach point B, but once it's been installed and tested it will work forever (providing no one messes about with it).

A wireless network is like carrying the water in buckets. It's just as easy as a hosepipe (for this example it is anyway) but a bit slower. You also have the advantage of moving the water to point C or point D without any trouble at all.

I prefer fixed wire (hosepipe) because it is tried and tested and rarely goes wrong.

It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you need portability and very constant change, wireless may be a better option. Probably a mix of the 2 would be more advantageous. We offer a product to some of our clients where we connect their remote offices to their main office wired system over a wireless link. It provides that flexibility. This way, they can move a Job trailer and be reconnected in a few hours and they get their phone, fax, and internet on the same connection.

You need to figure out why you want wireless. Is it just because it is the in thing? that is not a good reason to abandon the wired system. And like ButtonIt said, wired systems are extremely reliable which equates to reduce maintenance costs.

Keep in mind also that wireless products are flooding the market at 2.4 GHZ and interference and "hot spotting" will be more and more of a problem.

good luck...
