You wouldn't happen to have Gator, KaZaa, Comet Cursor or something like Bonzai Buddy installed would you?? From what I can find, that particular file is spyware..
If Sesask's suggestion doesn't find it...it'll be up to you to do it...I'm reading Adaware doesn't find it but haven't confirmed this thru personal experience. DO make sure you keep the definition file updated from the adaware site.
A new one is issued once in awhile.
If AAW doesn't get rid of it simply deleting the file and folder may.
It's another in the "new generation" of persistent ad applications that are coming out.
I've also seen ppl say they were downloading kazaalite and they "acquired" the file.
Amusing to me, considering the fact they were downloading kazaalite to get rid of spyware in the 1st place!
Everytime I get rid of it, a box pops up a few days later asking if I want to install and does so even if I click yes or no. Anybody confirmed where the heck this thing comes from?
What are BHOs? BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) are code modules adding functionality to Internet Explorer. They could be named plugins or addins but since they actually are COM (ActiveX) objects, they were named BHOs. A BHO allows developers to customize and control Internet Explorer and have unlimited capabilities. BHOs have access to all the events and properties of an Internet Explorer browsing session. BHOs don't necessarily have a user interface and therefore, you may not be aware of some BHOs installed on your system without your agreement.
