I run a DHCP server via Windows XP (Pro). Everything works fine, then, at random, it seems to stop sharing the internet connection, ie I am unable to ping anything (from a client). When I connect to the internet server through Remote Desktop, the internet connection is still live and I can ping through it there.

I found what seems to solve the problem, is to disable the lan connection, and then re-enable it. Problem is here, I have to access it remotely and I cannot simply disable/re-enable the connection remotely.

Does anyone know of a fix or another way around this problem?

Thanks in advance.
