Sorry if this has been covered before as I couldn't find anything.

Where can I find SIMPLE tutorials/code examples for establishing tcp/ip connections or sending receiving UDP datagrams using winsock/tcp/udpclient controls?

All I can find is way over my head (not difficult) and I'm sure someone must have produced some simple examples/code walkthroughs somewhere?

I'm particularly interested in VB.NET and VBScript if anyone has any ideas.

10q :)

You might try looking at the Microsoft Winsock Control. It's documented in MSDN. If you have to use VBScript. MSDN also has winsock samples. As for VB.Net, I can't say, still getting up to speed.

Umm, Inet is a simple control. It seems to be pretty easy to deal with. Also, WinInet.dll is something you may want to look into...

just a thought...
