Having a problem with a win95 pc. I am getting winsock error.
It is running Novell's Novell client with IPX/SPX protocol to connect to their novell 5 server. I also have TCP/IP installed with a static ip to connect to the internet via a small or home office router.
All the other pc that have the exact same config can connect to the internet with no problem.
I go to the command promt an try to run winipcfg I get an error message. (Failed to initialize winsock) I click ok and it brings me back to the desktop.
I have also tried to run ipconfig from the command prompt and I get a similar error. (Unable to initialixe windows sockets interface, error code 0.
I checked microsofts knowledge base and didn't get to much info. I also reinstalled TCP/IP and unistalled Dial up networking and that did nothing.
If some one give me any suggestions it would be a big help.
Thanks guys and gals
