WINS Replication Between NT4 and W2K

Hello,

I have NT 4 domain and a W2K Domain (AD) communicating over the WAN. I set up WINS replication to push (20 changes) and pull (45min) between the two domains. Problem is that every once in a while, if I browse the list in the W2K domain, the NT 4 domain drops off the list. This happens once or twice a week. And when it does only two workstations apear in the list (probably because they are local and not remote) Are there known problems with WINS replication between NT4 and 2000? Or should I be looking at the teo local workstations?

Any tips will be appreciated.

you should be looking at what machines are acting as master browsers and why they're unable to communicate with each other intermittently. BROWSTAT is a good tool to start with.
