We have a Windows 2000 Server white box with two 20G harddrives and the second harddrive is mirrored to the first. When we put in the second drive which we keep shut down to use as backup, it does the same thing, it reboots over and over to the login window.
We are not on the network there is a nic card but it is not used. Should we disable it as we check out the system for hardware problems?
We feel the drives are fine,, we have an equinox panel and board in the system, we use it for our intranet connections to our remotes. We are thinking hardware problem? ??
Thanks, would appreciate hearing from anyone else who may have experienced this problem.
Thanks again.

If koquito's suggestion doesn't work, then go to properties on my computer. On the advanced tab under start-up and recovery, there is a box that says "Automatically re-boot". You may have to boot to safe mode to get there, but un-check that box. Then you can start troubleshooting. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
