Help I've got a strange problem with my Windows XP workstations on a Novell Small Business 6.0 Server. Each XP box takes anywhere from 3-5 minutes to restart or shutdown with the message "saving your settings".. I found that if I bypass the Novell Client 4.9sp2 and logon to the workstation only, the system shuts down and restarts as normal but when I load the NWclient I get the long shutdown/restart issue.. I tried backing down to client 4.9sp1 but that didn't seem to help either..

Thanks for your help..Scott

Are you using roaming profiles? How big are they?

No I'm not using roaming profiles.. They are all very straight forward workstations with nothing special loaded.. I installed all of these units at about the same time and they worked fine for about a month then this shut down issue started and I can't figure out what changed on the server or on every XP workstation to cause this..

Applied the Novell Patch NW6sp5e and everything is working like a charm now..

Thanks for everyones help...
