Is there a way to get into a computer running Windows XP through Remote Desktop if the computer does not have a login password?

Thanks,

No, unless there's another account (not the normally logged in one) that has a password.

FYI, you can set a password on an account, and have it logged into automatically when you start the computer so that you don't have to enter it at startup - if that's the dilema that promted the question.

that article says to set a password! So the answer is still no. Or were you trying to be funny?

Where do I go to enable the computer to log in automatically?

Thanks smah.

Start, Run, control userpasswords2, uncheck 'Users must enter a name.....'. Then when you click OK, you will be prompted for the username and password to automatically log on.
