Has anyone worked out an efficient way of getting the program updates from microsoft, when you have more than one computer running win2000. It seems a bit pointless to download exactly the same files for each computer when you should be able to download them once & save them..

Any suggestions??

I tried looking for newly created files after I had downloaded them, but it didn't really work..... James Goodman

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking. If you are wanting to download the file and save it to a disk you can go to the microsoft web site. From there go to the download center. Here you can pick which updates you want. This allows you to save them to a disk instead of using the Windows Update feature which downloads the updates and installs them automatically. Hope this helps.
