Windows Update File

I have a folder located at c;\\program files\ called windowsupdate. Is this a folder I need to keep? To me, the file holds any files that I updated windows with. Can I delete the files in there?

I need room on my c drive and need to delete unnecessary files.

Hi

There is no problem in deleting those files.

In addition you can move the pagefil to another drive. That will give you the most and if you have 2 harddrives installed, you will even get a better performance on you system by moving it to the other harddisk.

... and whie you are at it, make min and max of the pagefil even. That improves performace at well.
