Windows NT & Roaming Profiles

I have implemented roaming profiles between our NT4 servers and our Windows 2000 client machines. I am after confirmation that the roaming profile is downloaded in it's entirety everytime the user logs on as long as the server profile has the later timestamp.

The documentation I have read seems to indicate this without actually saying definitely.
