Windows Network error; Profile error 2: Cookies

Hey all, Please help,
I have a strange problem concerning error messages in my network. I get a Profile error with RANDOM users and RANDOM computers! And then the computer that gets this error message crashes.
This is a rough translation from Dutch;
An error has occured accessing a file in C:\windows\Profiles\"username"\Cookies
Profile error 2: Can not open file, could be in use.
Some profilesettings are possibly not available.
Do you want to get this error in the future? Yes/No
(Problem is I CANT CHOOSE YES/NO BECAUSE THE SYSTEM FREEZES!!)

I would try turning off profiles all together and see if the problem persists.

We found a solution! Registry entry; (HKLM)DisplayProfileErrors set to no 0 or 1 does not do the trick, we did not enter a value and that was the solution.
