Windows Mobile/Activesync Address Books

Exchange 2003 sp2
Windows Mobile 5 devices using activesync

All our syncing to remote mobile devices is working just fine. My question is, has anyone been able to push or allow access to the "Global Address Book" that Active Directory creates when its first created? Global Address Book being the book that contains all the domain users.

The users personal address books/contacts are pushed just fine, but not the company address book.

Anyone know how to do this?

I have not and would be very interested to know if it is possible as well.

Other side question for you ...have you been able to get MSFP working on the client side? ...So the EX SRV initiates the delivery of new mail delivery and not the device checking in every X minutes? If yes who is your cellular provider? I was told that the Mobile 5 OEM needs to provide a small piece of software in order for MSFP to work (as advertised in all the MS white papers).

I shot M$ an email about the forwarding as I'm still not able to find the ability to do that.. I'll post back if I hear something from them.

No, I have not got the MSFP working. The devices are still auto checking on their own.

Beastie, I got the MFSP working now. I had to update the entire Windows Mobile image on the phone.

Soon as I did that, changed the Activesync schedule from "Every 5 minutes" to "As Item Arrives" and it only takes a few seconds to show up on the phone.

However, the phones here are Treo 700w's. When the phone recieves a new messeage it establishes a data connection. When the phone is in a data connection and a phone call comes it, the caller hears a busy signal. According to Verizon, the phones are supposed to drop the data connection and let the voice connection through. Well, it works, but NOT in 1x areas. So, unless you're in a big city like Chicago or New York or something that has the faster signal, the "As Item Arrives" is pretty much a failure cause voice calls won't make it through, especially when the person is a pretty busy emailer..
