I have been using Windows Media Player 7.1 on Windows 2000 Professional for a long while now. Recently I upgraded my CPU, Mother Board, RAM and HDD. Since this upgrade I have had problems playing video files. When I try to play a video, the Media Player display enlarges to about 10" and stays black with no audio. Occasionally I Recieve the "BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH" and my system begins a physical memory dump, however, this memory dump is not consistant behavior. I have updated all the video drivers associated with my system and still I have this problem. Any ideas??

Please advise. Turbo

check your video driver. The latest is not necessary the best. Had the same problem before. Fixed it by reinstalling the previous version of video driver.
