Hi guys, I need fast help, Im at a customer right now.
How do I remove the log-on screen on windows ME, so I dont have to enter my username and password, everytime the computer starts up. The computer is not on a network, so there is no security issues what so ever.
Thanks... Jesper

Howdy:

Quick and usually easy..

Right click on Network Neighborhood and select Properties

Now, change the Primary Logon from Client for Microsoft Networks to Windows Logon.. Apply and Okay out.. DO NOT REBOOT..

Now, do a search on c: drive for *.pwl files.. delete all you find.. Now you can reboot..

You may get the logon screen once more.. If you do, just press Okay.. DO NOT CANCEL !!!

You are the king Murray. Thanks for fast answer. Just one thing... I had to delete "Client for Microsoft Networks", before it worked. But now its all ok.... Thanks.
