Hi, I recently format my hard drive. Now I am triing to reinstall all my drivers to be able to use my computer again. After a few tries and a few problems I notice that when I install the D-Link Fast Ethernet Adapter DFE-530TX (use for my high speed modem) and the Soundblaster Live! Value drivers, Windows 98 lock at startup. I cant use the mouse or the keyboard, but the safe mode work. To be able to boot up normaly I have to deactivate my Soundblaster or my Dlink.

It was working 3 weeks ago and now its isn't, why. I used the lastest drivers for both cards and also older ones and nothing help me.

Does someone know what could be the prblem and how to solve it.

Thanks

If you look at Device Manager are there any conflicts? If so, uninstall both devices, shut down the computer normally, take out one device and reinstall the remaining device. Make sure that device is working, then shut down again, put the second device in and allow to install. Hopefully that should sort out any conflicts.
