Hi,

I am using Windows 2000 Prof.

For some reason, my system thinks I have new hardware and the new hardware wizards runs every time I start my computer.

I went to device manager and it shows "yellow" question marks, but they are showing under "Other Devices" and they say "unknown". Meaning Windows is finding some device and at the same time does not know what it is.

I can disable the unknown devices, but at reboot, the wizard runs again.

Anyone know how to permanently remove some devices that windows *thinks* exist??
