windows detects my RAM in kilobytes... is this a problem? 1

it says i have 262,144kb of ram. 2k doesnt really like my ram anyway... so what does this mean?
 
You are talking about the General tab on system properties correct? This is perfectly normal. I have not seen a Win2K machine yet that has that listed as actual MB. James Collins

yep, that where it's it. Why would windows display it like that?
 
I am not sure why it displays it in kb instead of mb. I do not have an answer for that. Does not hurt anything (except ones brain trying to conver to mb) ;-) James Collins
