Does anyone know what is the size limit on windows default backup? If I am not mistaken, there was a size limit of 4 GB on W2K?? Not sure if it is the same for W2K3. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Nope, I backup a lot more than 4GB on my W2k and on W2k3, I do backups of 50GB so far.

I am running into a 4gb limitation on SBS 2003. Any ideas what might be casuing this. I am using a 40 GB External Drive so there is plenty of room.

Check the knowledge base on MS or do a search in the forums. I remember seing something about that here. I regularly backup 40 Gigs of data and never had a problem. I have servers running both SBS2003 and W2k3 standard.

I figured out my problem. The drive was formated to FAT32 out of the box. I converted it to NTFS and I was able to do a 30Gig backup with no problem.
