Has anyone seen this before?
A client has a batch file that executes a command line run of the Windows Backup.exe file, specifying various syntaxes.
All that look fine.
However, when it trys to start the backup it says
"There is no unused media available with the selected type.
Add unused media or click Cancel to select another type"
After a bit of digging i found something in Computer Management under Removable Storage.
It has found the tape drive, but has marked it with a Cross and has flagged it as status 'Not present, Empty'
Any ideas?
the tape is in the drive
