I have a user set to be restricted, so we set him to be an admin so that he could install Crystal Reports. He then uninstalled it. He logged off the machine and logged back on and didn't have any problems. He then rebooted his machine and gets an error when he logs in that Windows cannot load the profile and is logging on a temporary profile, but it will not save any changes made. We tried renaming the profile and copying it, but have not been successfull.

Any suggestions???

Thanks for the site. We had tried that already. It copies over now, but it's really slow and tries to install office again when opening outlook or excel.

That is because NTUSER.DAT was not copied.
It would be too risky to copy this, as likely whatever Windows feel is corrupted in the profile is located there.

The reinstall for the Office Suite applications is not very time intensive.
