Windows cannot find shortcut to my Macro

The macro executes successfully when I have the DB open.

When I create a shortcut to the macro on my desktop and try to run it, I get an error message saying Windows cannot find the shortcut.

If I modify the macro to remove the Quit ==> Save All option, the shortcut executes the query successfully. But I want the macro to exit Access after the macro runs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

This is an access foible one where it runs so fast it can trip over its shoe laces

How the commands execute is not always in the order you would think you have to use the DO Events command this makes sure the command executes COMPLETELY before moving on to the next one .

Try it you may have some luck

BTW I HAVE USED UP TO 3 DO EVENTS TO ENSURE COMPLETION WHEN DEALING WITH DOS AND WINDOWS SO DON'T BE SURPRISED IF ONE DOESN'T WORK
