Windows Automatic Updates -Are Updates Logged Anywhere ? 1

hi experts,

My Win 2000 Server (SP4) has 1 or 2 unusual symptoms this week.
I suspect that last weekend some Windows updates were automatically downloaded and applied. (Yes, the Automatic Updates service is enabled)

** Do the updates get logged so that I can view what and when something got changed? **

The Add Remove Programs applet in Control Panel should tell you what hotfixes/patches have been installed on your machine

Yes, they get logged. Check the View installation history under Other Options when you start Windows Update in Internet Explorer. It gets this info from:

C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\V4\IUHIST.XML
