windows 98SE

Can anyone please tell me fif you can purchase windows 98SE on Floppies ?
as I have problems with access to my pcmcia CD in DOS, so I have fdisked and formated the hard drive in prepartion for clean install.

I don't believe that win98 does come on floppies. Why don't you try installing a different cd-rom. You can pick up an IDE cd rom for dirt cheap. Are you using a boot disk with cd-rom support? mot98

Or install from the hard drive with install stuff transferred over a network or off zip disks. Ed Fair

Can I get an IDE cd rom to work on a laptop, sorry should have been more specific.
Also I have a pcmcia network, can I get it to work in dos ? and how would I connect to desktop ?
Have got dos drivers I believe .

Late news, I have just checked a my start up disk which I use for start up, and I have had a virus it is called
antiCemos.avg ? Nortons found it and repaired boot sector of floppy.
However the hard disk is probably infected, maybe the trouble with the pcmcia CD rom install.
So how do I clean my hard drive from this virus ?
I have Norton, on floppies, 9 disks plus 3 update disks, but I have tried to install in dos to clean hard disk, it wont., I have fdisked hard drive and formatted hard drive but the problem still exists, is there a dos avg program ?
and how would i use it ?
