Windows 98 wireless

I want to set up a wireless network for ta friend using her windows 98 laptop. I would like to use the $10 linksys WPC11 wireless B network adaptor, but it needs windows 98SE. Is there an unobtrusive way to upgrade windows 98 to windows 98SE? Or should I look for a different card? It seems like all of the cards only support windoes 98SE and higher. How can I make this work?

That looks like a great patch, but it also says that it is for win98SE... I need something that will take win 98 to win 98SE.
