A user is suppose to be allowed to login mutiple computers, but for some reason on a specific computer, running Windows 98 SE the password is not being accepted.

So I deleted user.plw and set a new user with the same username and correct password.

When I tried logging in as that user, I received this error "The domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your logon server has been denied."

However, I can login using the same username and password on another computer.

Any help will be appreciated.

So have you checked on the server if that user is allowed access to that machine?

Can you login as another user on that pc?

Make certain that the Domain is correctly specified and that the network settings are correct.

The error refers directly to the domain password you're typing and has nothing to do with the local windows password. Therefore, deleting and re-creating the *.pwl file does nothing to resolve this error, since that is for the local password.

At this point, I would suggest you type the password up in the username box just so you can see what you're typing. Chances are that a key is not registering on the keyboard, of if you're using the number keypad, make sure NUM LOCK is turned on.
