I have a PII Acer pc running windows 95 attached to an nt server, it has a direct motherboard connection for the network and mouse, alternatively a printer is attached and an external serial data connection for a program. The alternative input device settings found in accessablilty options was originally set to com1 300 baud rate, it was changed to com2 9600 baud rate. windows crashed after the change was made and at startup wouldnt load giving a Msgsrv32.exe failed to load error. removing the program and removing com2 letting windows reinstall it failed to correct the problem . the only way to allow windows to load is to disable the com port 2, in system properties there is no sign of conflicts. what does this error mean and any solutions to resolve the issue would be appreciated.
