Windows 2003 Term Server published App vs Citrix

Hi All
I am curious if 03 Term server is as good at publishing apps as Citrix is. I am trying to free up some cash and the Citrix licensing is pretty pricey. Does anyone out there use this in their environment and if so how good has it been ? I am just beginning to test this with one client and there has been some issues with colors on the client end and disconnects.

Any info is appreciated.
