Hello-

What Windows tools would I need to download on to my client pc in order to be able to view Active Directory -Users and Computers, Sites and Services and Domain Trust objects?

I could RDP to the server and just log on to the box in order to do this but there must be a way (as long as you have the proper privileges) to have AD tools implemented on a Windows 2000 pro or xp client.

Any ideas? I'll appreciate any info!

Copy the AdminPak.MSI file from the Server's Windows folder to your local computer, then double-click on it. That will install the management tools (I believe this only works on XP).

Thanks everyone!

For this very useful information

Hi guys,

One more question please..

What tools do I need to download in order to use the RUNAS command sets at the prompt.. I am on an XP client so I may not need anything but the examples I'm trying aren't really working

thx

Nothing - everything is included. Why not post the commands so we can help you determine why its not working.
