I just did a clean install of Windows Server 2003. My server is configured to have 2 static IPs, one on each NIC: 192.168.4.10 and 192.168.2.10

I can ping and access anything on 192.168.4.X and 192.168.2.X, however the other portions of the network (192.168.3.X, 192.168.6.X, 192.168.8.X) are unavailable. The names are resolving to IPs (when I ping server.domain.com I get the correct IP even if it is a 192.168.3/6/8.X address) however all requests going to those portions of the network time out.

Any suggeestions?

Update: When I disable the first internet connection (192.168.2.11) the second one allows me to reach the entire network, but I'm not sure why.

At a command prompt, type "Route Print" (when both NIC's are active). It is most likely a problem here. Look at the Metrics on the different interfaces for the subnets you are trying to access (or paste the output here and the community can look for you) - it may be a problem with your other NIC not being able to see the network you are trying to reach and the weight on the interface overrules the card you are trying to go through.

Thanks for the tip. It might be a few days before I get to try this, since I'm having issues with other servers, but I'll let you know what happens.
