Well,.. I can recomend you a book like: "70-223-W2k Advanced Server Clustering Services".

If you don't know anything about this subject, then, honestly is difficult to guide you what you have to do.

hi,

what I know, is that each server (2 or more), must have 2 nics: one is configured in standard mode, has an ip conf.
as other computer. In wins, (and/or DNS) at this address
is associated the Netbios computer name. Obviuously each
server has different computer-name, and for this nic, a different ip-address.

When you activate and configure NLB, all servers, will
configure the second adapter with a same ip-address and
(as in Cluster Service, a common Network name ).

Suppose you activate IIS on all servers and you copy
your site program or pages in all servers (or on a share):
when a client the servers
elect one of them that answers to client, and this
will be different for the next client.

This technology, gives reliability (on server may be down
and all goes on) as Cluster Service, but has also this
different with it: more than 2 nodes can partecipate at the pool, and all server are active on a service (in Cluster Service one server sleeps! on a service ).

bye
