I have install Citrix XPe on a test Windows 2003 standard server. I have used all the defaults and set-up the following port redirection on a Watchguard firewall to point to the Citric/Windows server:

TCP 80
TCP 443
TCP 1494
UDP 1604

When I try to connect via the web interface, both externally and internally, authentification works and I get a list of the two test applications published (ACT! 6.0 and pcAnywhere 11), but when I click on an application, I get the following message:

ERROR: All servers are down. Please try again later.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could point out where I'm being very stupid. Thnx.

OK first things first have you set an external address for te Citrix server/s.

ALTADDT /SET blah.bla.blah.bla an external ip that you have and then in Web Interface Management have you set the address that users connect to to Alternate address as opposed to Normal.

Cheers

Thanks but I got it working. Also I had already set the alternate address on the server and via the Web Admin. What this idiot didn't do was restart the server after setting up Terminal Service Licensing Server.

However, the server's Outlook Web Access seems to be running slow now. Would it be advisable to change the ports for Citrix. I know a separate Citrix server would be ideal, but I know who controls the purse strings on this project, and it ain't going to happen.

Thnx.

Well it was working fine at 4am, but now at the web logon screen after entering username and password and clicking to logon, it brings you straight back to a refresh logon screen. This happens for all users.

Cheers.

Is there a message in red down the right hand side of the page ?

Cheers
Scott

There's no message in the message centre, and seems to have been running smoothly all of yesterday and this morning. SO hopefully that's the end of that. Thank you for your prompt assistance.
