I have 2003 Active directory installed on one server and a backup on installed on a different machine. Both of them are on the same subnet and are DNS servers as well. If I move the backup domain controller to a different subnet will it role change, or in another words will it stop acting as a backup domain controller? If anoy one let me know as soon as possible I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Windows 2003 Active Directory

There is no such thing as a backup (or primary) DC with 2000/2003, so moving the DC to a different subnet will not affect its functionality.
