I have a server which is running clustering on external storage disks which is fine, the problem I seem to have the Servers internal harddisk is 16gig and is completely full. I am viewing all hidden and compressed files and the total files only equals 3gig?? the virtual memory is only 768MB. I can't seem to find the missing 12gigs. Has anyone else seen something similar.

Cheers
Jon

This may sound stupid, but have you emptied the recyle bin?

I made sure that was done. It was not stupid, any ideas are worth considering. cheers

1. What is the allocation unit size of the ntfs partition in question?

2. Are you running any utilities that may be writing data to alternate streams?

3. No quotas, right?
