We are purchasing a Canon IR3100CN that needs to be printed to by 2 Macs and several Windows clients. We have a Windows 2000 server I will create the print queue on. We are running TCP/IP and both Macs can log onto the Windows server & write to certain directories. We have a Apple Macintosh Power Mac G4 running OS 9.1 and an Imac running OS 10. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as the Macs are concerned. Many thanks

Do the Macs when connected to the network not see the Active Directory ?

Macs from version 10.0 upwards use a Unix shell...correct?

TCP/IP will therefore be default protocol....

I believe "windows sharing" will need to be configured Mac end.
