I have windows 2000 server running on a P3 750 with 384M ram. When I boot the machine, it sits on the network connections screen before the login appears for about 5 minutes if not more.
The network has 2 other machines hooked up, what can be done to speed this up?

Thanks

I don't believe so, how can I check?

1 easy way to tell is to right click on my computer and go to manage. Next go to the users and groups. If you are running Active Directory then you will get a message about it. James Collins

I have seen this on a couple of computers in my domain the cause was they had the wrong primary dns ip's. they were going to a dns computer that is at a co-location and not the dns that was local. hope this helps
