Windows 2000 Server DNS Conflicts?

If i type NBTSTAT -A and my ip address i get a conflict error for the servers address. How do i fix this problem. I have tried nearly everything.

if you have win9x/nt/me, check the records on the wins server; if you have w2k/xp, check the records on dns. and search for the same ip.

You wouldn't by any chance be getting errors regarding a Roaming Policy would you?
