Hey guys, I have a weird problem here

If I log on the pc as administrator, everything works fine

If I login with my other account, the screen goes black and I can only see the mouse. I can move the mouse around but nothing comes up.
If I hit print screen the cursor blinks so it looks like it's in windows and printing the screen, it doesen't seem to be frozen.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Anything in event log? (run eventvwr.msc)

Does this happen if you create a new user and then log on?

What level of access do the user accounts with thje problem have?

When did this start happening - and had you added/removed any hardware/software before this?

Maybe some user thought it would be funny to set up a custom scheme of ALL BLACK?

Hi ddzc,
What happens if you hit the ESC key a couple of times, does it continue loading the profile? If so there is something that is causing the profile to hang during the load process. The easiest way to fix it would be to log in as the admin rename the problem profile. Then login back in as the affected user. If it loads properly. Your good to go. You will just need to copy what you must have, from the old profile into the new one.

Good luck,
ScorpioX
