Where does Windows 2000 Pro save internet logon password?
For example, After logging off of Ebay, the next time I log on again using the same pc all I have to do is to type the first letter of my username and it would automatically fill out the rest along with my password (which is hidden of course). It's nice if this pc isn't shared with different people.

I've already tried cleaning all temp files, internet temp files and all cookies, none of these works.

Help!

This problem you are having is not Windows storing your passwords. It is Internet Explorer storing your passwords.
To disable this feature. Go to Tools menu, in Internet Explorer. Click on Internet Options. Click on the Content tab. Down the botton of that page it says Personal Information. Click on the Autocomplete button. Deselect the option to use Autocomplete for Usernames and Passwords on Forms. Then below that click the boxes which say Clear Forms and Clear Passwords.
Now Internet Explorer wont save your passwords anymore
