Windows 2000 DC problem

Hi,

i have a problem with windows 2000 Ads server and my DCs,
the dcs can replicate to each other and the ADS cannot replicate to the DCs,so when i went thrugh ADSI tool in one of the DCs it showed me a completelty Different name of ADS server i.e CN= & Dns Host name from the normal name of the machine.thats why the dcs could not replicate to the ADS as it could not find that name server.
cam somebody help me to change this name back to its original ADS name

I do not know the article # but if you do a search on TechNet with a desciption you will find a KBA that addresses this with a solution.
