Hi,
Here is our situation:
We have created a Windows 2000 terminal server which runs Oracle financials on it. Within Oracle, the users can export data into an excel spreadsheet. Once the file is created, Oracle attempts to bring up the default web browser to display the exported file. However, all our users get is a message stating "App-01233: Your default web browser could not be started. Please make sure your browser is installed correctly and try again."
There is only one internet browser installed and that is IE. Funny thing is that if I have an IE window open before I attempt to export, than everything works fine.
I have searched the web for an answer, however most of the posts are 2+ years old and trying to reach the folks that had the issue and potential solution are hard to reach.
Does anyone have some ideas or a contact that experienced this issue?
Thanks,
Michael Cohoon
