I need to be able to kick off batch jobs to process on a colleagues PC.

Currently his drive is shared and I have Read/Write permissions. We run batch jobs which open various databases and process stuff, but all the resulting datasets are placed into databases on the c:\, hence if I run the batch from my PC it is looking at my c:\ an places the results there, but I really want them to be placed on his c:\.

I thought that I might be able to have access to his Scheduled tasks, but apparantly I can only do that if I have Admin permissions, which for some reason the IT department won't give me :).

Can I use WinAT to remotely shedule batch jobs to run on another colleagues PC? If so, how?

Thanks
Jo

WinAT or other programs run on the local system, you dont run apps on other systems unless you are terminal services install or PCanywhere etc. Otherwise all you are doing is controlling your computer not the other parties workstation. You can make the data output from your system save to the other persons system by mapping a share from his PC to your system :)
