Win98 startup

Is there a way to edit the registry (or other alternatives) such that Win98 will run my program or script first before loading up the desktop? Meaning that the script will be the first to run.

Just realised my above post is probably more for NT or 2000 PC's so it might not work!

yes there is...but it depends on what you're trying to load /run

I am trying to run a script that will do an installation in Win98 before the desktops loads.
